Now Hiring - Rental Sales Representative in Essex, MD

Groff Tractor & Equipment, LLC. a leading construction equipment dealership in PA, NJ, MD, DE, and Northern VA is looking for an individual to immediately fill the full-time position of Rental Sales Representative.

Previous experience in the renting or selling of heavy equipment is preferred. Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Serve as the key rental customer contact and rental consultant at our branches.

• Recommend solutions to the customer and quote prices, and fulfill orders based on customer need.

• Identify and generate new leads for rental customers and contact previous customers to generate business.

• Establish new rental accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers.

• Set up and maintain rental contracts accurately and timely.

• Follow up with customers on accounts as needed.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements for this position include but are not limited to:

• Prior experience in heavy equipment rentals and/or sales.

• Good customer relations and communication skills.

• Basic computer skills including use of Microsoft Office suite.

• Highly motivated and organized.

• Ability to multitask.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

• Driving automobiles and construction equipment.

• Climbing into a cab of construction equipment and trailers.

• Lifting up to 75-100 lbs. of parts and/or machinery.

• Reaching high and low.

• Bending down to look into engine and other areas of equipment.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to meet company driving policy.
